Utility Industry Training & QA-QC Leader Gas and Electric

We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Training and QA/QC Leader. This role encompasses various responsibilities including client engagement, inspector training development, quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) leadership, training records management, and operator qualifications and evaluations.

$80,000 yearly

Responsibilities:

Client Engagement:

  • Review outcomes of client alignment meetings to discern training requirements.
  • Engage with clients to ascertain precise training needs.
  • Collaborate with clients in the development and review of training modules before implementation.
  • Conduct periodic reviews with clients to ensure training objectives are met effectively.

Inspector Training Development:

  • Understand client requirements prior to initiating training development.
  • Customize training modules to suit the proficiency level of the trainees.
  • Solicit feedback from trainees to evaluate the effectiveness of training.
  • Adapt and refine training modules based on feedback received.
  • Participate in Operations & Sales meetings and provide support as needed.
  • Create site-specific presentations tailored to individual client needs.

QA/QC Leadership:

  • Review the completeness of Daily Reports.
  • Engage internally to address incomplete daily reports and identify training necessities.
  • Communicate outcomes of strategic discussions with Team Leaders and ROL (Regional Operations Leader).
  • Drive continuous improvement through metric analysis and strategic goal-setting.

Training Records & Certifications:

  • Develop and expand Pro Joe Training Modules.
  • Gauge client interest in Pro Joe qualified inspectors and facilitate accordingly.
  • Serve as the administrator for training programs and record-keeping.
  • Issue reminders regarding training requirements to all stakeholders.
  • Provide metrics data and collaborate on initiatives to enhance training effectiveness.

Operator Qualifications & Evaluations:

  • Assess all inspector Operator Qualification (OQ) prerequisites as per client specifications.
  • Obtain requisite certifications to serve as an OQ evaluator for diverse clients.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proven experience in client engagement and training development.
  • Familiarity with quality assurance and quality control processes.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using relevant software applications.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally as required.
