Are you a passionate and experienced Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) seeking a flexible opportunity in the field of home health? Responsibilities:

- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' speech, language, and swallowing abilities to determine their communication and feeding needs.

- Develop personalized treatment plans based on patients' individual goals and functional limitations.

- Provide individualized therapy services to patients in their homes, targeting speech and language skills, articulation, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders.

- Educate patients and their families on techniques and strategies to improve communication, language skills, and swallowing function.

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, occupational therapists, and physical therapists, to ensure a holistic and coordinated approach to patient care.

- Document patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes accurately and in a timely manner.

- Stay up to date with the latest advancements and evidence-based practices in speech and language pathology through continued professional development.

- Maintain compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures.


Qualifications:

- Valid license as a Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) in the state of Florida

- Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a Speech and Language Pathologist.

- Strong knowledge of speech and language pathology principles, techniques, and best practices.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet patients' needs.

- Proficiency in documenting patient progress and treatment plans using electronic medical records (EMR).

- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel to patients' homes.
