The core goal of our operation is to bring tenants and properties together while making the leasing process uncomplicated for both. We are currently seeking a full-time experienced Carpenter-Painter to join our team!
Responsibilities:
- Perform carpentry tasks including framing, trim work, and finishing to ensure structural integrity and visual appeal of properties.
- Identify and address any carpentry issues such as rot or damage and implement appropriate repairs.
- Execute painting projects, prepare surfaces and apply finishes for desired aesthetics.
- Collaborate with maintenance team to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Collaborate with project managers to achieve specific color schemes and design goals.
- Manage project timelines, coordinate with teams, and communicate progress effectively.
- Communicate with supervisors, project managers, and clients regarding project progress and potential issues.
- Travel between properties as needed.
- Ensure projects are completed within budget.
- Perform job site cleanup.
- Complete drywall projects.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a carpenter-painter or in a similar role.
- Strong carpentry skills including framing, trim work, and finishing.
- Proficient in various painting techniques and surface preparation.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high quality work.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of safety practices and adherence to industry regulations.
- Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds and be comfortable climbing ladders.
Education and Certifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1 - 3 years of carpentry experience preferred.
