We are looking for someone passionate about providing our guests with an excellent banquet experience. As a Banquet Set-Up Attendant, you must be creative, motivated, and passionate about growing your talents with our company and hotel. Join our team today! Successful candidates for this role will have previous serving experience with medium to large groups, with a strong desire to learn, to develop skills and work with the banquet leadership team.

As a Banquet Set-Up Attendant will be tasked with the following duties, responsibilities, and assignments.

Your Role:

  • Setup and breakdown our banquet meeting spaces.
  • Follow BEO (Banquet Event Order) instructions, including tables, table complements (salt, pepper, sugar, breadsticks, etc.), table linens, table settings, centerpieces, dishes, audio-visual equipment, and all other event provisions.
  • Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of banquet spaces, before, during and after events.
  • Maintain communication with the guest and event contact for all guest needs and provide excellent customer service to all guests and clients.
  • Serve all food and beverages to guests in compliance with our company standards.
  • Observe Health Department guidelines for food handling and sanitation.
  • Manage audio-visual equipment during events.
  • Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures, including reporting accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management, and
  • All other work as required to complete the primary purpose of the position.

Qualifications:

Preferred Prior Experience: 

  • Six (6) months serving experience for medium to large groups.

Preferred Education:

  • High School diploma or equivalent

Required Licenses/ Certification: 

  • Food Safety certificate or complete training within the initial 90 days. 
  • Alcohol certification or complete training within the initial 90 days.  

Physical: 

  • Ability to lift, pull and push up to 50 lbs. 
  • Ability to bend and squat repeatedly.
  • Ability to walk and stand for the duration of scheduled shift.

Other: 

  • Flexible to working days, early mornings, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
