Sodexo is seeking a Dietitian Nutritionist for Highland ARH Regional Medical Center in Prestonsburg, KY.  Highland is a part of the Appalachian Regional Healthcare (ARH) and is ranked as one of the Top 10 Employers in Kentucky by Forbes Magazine, is a not-for-profit health system operating 14 hospitals between Kentucky and West Virginia. At Highlands ARH you will have the opportunity to assess a variety of patients from ICU, Med-Surg, and Behavior Heath patients.  Eastern Kentucky provides wide variety of outdoors activity in our area like hiking, biking and kayaking. $3000 Sign on Bonus!  No weekends, no holidays!

 

Benefits:

• reimbursement for AND dues, state licensure fees and CDR renewal

The successful candidate will:

• provide nutritional care for a variety of inpatient units;
• perform quality improvement initiatives such as patient satisfaction rounds and monthly test trays;
• precept dietetic interns;
• educate healthcare team members, including physicians and nurses; and
• assist with Food Service Management as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Basic Education Requirement: Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)  (Note: For those seeking registration after 2023, this must be a master’s degree)

 

 

Credentials Requirement:

• Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.  In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire
• Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice
