The Sales Manager – New Construction is responsible for building strong relationships with builders in Florida. Working hand in hand with both internal stakeholders and manufacturing partners, this position drives the strategy and decision-marking processes needed to establish customer programs that increase sales and profitability.

What you will do:

 

  • Articulating and deploying Beacons differential value proposition in order to help our customers build their business and work more efficiently. 
  • Responsible for the overall performance and development of assigned regional or national accounts.
  • Grow year over year revenue of assigned customers by adding additional products and/or product lines, ensuring customer satisfaction, and increasing Beacon profitability.
  • Develop new prospects and interactions with existing customers to increase sales of an organization's products and/or services.
  • Cultivate and establish relationships with manufacturing partners to support customer relationships.
  • Relentless focus on continuous account management within assigned area, gaining a comprehensive understanding of customer needs.
  • Conduct regular account reviews with internal stakeholders to assess performance, negotiate sales terms, and provide strategic recommendations.  

 

What you will bring:

 

  • The right individual must display initiative, passion, a strong work ethic and the ability to lead, plan and manage change.  
  • Proficiency in exterior building products concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Minimum of 5-10 years account management experience in a related field. 
  • Proven experience leading and developing sales strategies. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of business acumen, financials, products, and markets. 
  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with customers, vendors, and employees.
  • Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. 
  • Strong ability to work in changing environment, see through complexity. 
  • Personal integrity and exemplary ethical standards.  
  • Experience using business intelligence systems to manage portfolio (Salesforce, Cognos, Tableau).
  • Proficient skill with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint). 
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel up to 50%.
