Reporting directly to the Chief People Officer, the Senior Director of HR Compliance Initiatives will play a pivotal role in driving our company's compliance strategies in tandem with our growth trajectory. We are seeking a visionary leader who possesses an intricate grasp of compliance standards, adept risk evaluation capabilities, and outstanding project management acumen.

Salary Range: $130,000 - $140,000

Annual Bonus: 18%

Responsibilities:

  • Lead our HR compliance initiatives, from initial analysis through completion and provide insightful updates to our executive officers
  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify compliance gaps and potential areas of concern
  • Develop and implement strategies to ensure company-wide compliance with relevant regulations, laws, and standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize compliance efforts based on business impact and risk mitigation
  • Ensure timely delivery and adherence to quality standards through managing detailed project plans
  • Establish and maintain policies, procedures, and training programs to promote a culture of compliance and awareness
  • Monitor changes in regulatory requirements and proactively advise leadership on necessary adjustments
  • Lead, motivate, coach, and support the Director of Projects and Programs
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on compliance matters, providing guidance and support to internal stakeholders
  • Prepare and present regular reports on compliance initiatives, progress, and outcomes to executive leadership
  • Evaluate, recommend, and implement enhancements to current compliance processes, create or update policies or practices, and audit records to ensure current and ongoing compliance
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience within Human Resources or Legal, with a focus on audit and compliance, is required.
  • Demonstrated expertise in identifying human resources compliance risks and implementing effective risk mitigation strategies.
  • Thorough understanding and practical application of key employment laws including FMLA, ADA, FLSA, USERRA, etc.
  • Proficiency in immigration and expatriate-related assignments.
  • Ability to formulate both short- and long-term plans for areas of responsibility.
  • Proven track record of thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and adeptness at adapting to evolving variables.

The final compensation offered will be determined based on various factors, including the candidate's location, level of experience, and skill set. As such, it may fall outside the range listed above.
