Job Description and Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Perform month-end and year-end close procedures, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
Reconcile bank accounts and general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, including invoice processing, vendor payments, and customer invoicing.
Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes, providing financial insights and recommendations to management.
Prepare and file sales tax returns and other regulatory filings in compliance with state and federal regulations.
Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and assistance as needed.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
Stay updated on accounting standards and regulations to ensure compliance and best practices.
Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as requested by management.
Hiring Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant discipline.
2+ years of experience in accounting or finance role(s), preferably in healthcare or a related industry. Experience in multi-site operations within healthcare sector. (Preferred)
Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting requirements.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
