TEKsystems is seeking a Mail Room Coordinator for large multi national technology company.

Perform duties and responsibilities to ensure that the facilities are kept at an A+ standard while fulfilling mailroom duties as assigned.

*MUST HAVE: THURSDAY - FRIDAY AVAILABILITY*

  • Guaranteed 20 hours a week, two ten hour shifts 
  • Schedule: Thursday - Friday , 8am - 7pm (1hr lunch, 2-3 breaks daily)

Position Summary:

The Mail Room Coordinator is responsible for performing duties and responsibilities specific to overseeing the building maintenance for site while performing assigned mailroom duties for the client. Additionally, the Mail Room Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the receptionist during sick, vacation and time away from work. He or she shall be required to perform all duties and responsibilities at a high level that always exceeds the clients’ expectations, while driving operational excellence.

Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Facilities Supervisor, the Mail Room Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring the fulfillment of building maintenance, procurement of supplies and related mailroom services. Additionally, the Mail Room Coordinator will work with the Facilities Coordinator to ensure that all building maintenance services are delivered in an efficient, effective and timely manner.

 

Daily Duties and Responsibilities:

The Mail Room Coordinator will be responsible for the following daily duties and responsibilities that includes but it is not limited to the following:

1. Perform daily duties as per job requirements and as assigned be Facilities Supervisor.

2. Daily inspection of facilities to ensure that the building is kept at a high level of maintenance as assigned by Facilities Supervisor.

3. Working in conjunction with the Facilities Coordinator the Mail Room Coordinator will be responsible for building maintenance and custodial issues in conjunction with life safety issues.

4. Working with the Facilities Coordinator the Mail Room Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring that the UPS maintenance is completed on a quarterly basis.

5. Working with the Facilities Coordinator the Mail Room Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring that all related spaces are kept at a high level of cleanliness that will consistently impact the employees, vendors and visitors experience.

6. Working with the Facilities Coordinator the Mail Room Coordinator will be responsible for conducting daily site walkthrough at SITE to validate that work orders are completed, while generating new work orders as required or deemed necessary.

7. Responsible for responding to all email requests for building maintenance and general correspondence in a consistent and timely manner.

8. Provide support for conference room maintenance, usage and scheduling.

9. Conduct inspections of MDF and IDF room daily and record temperature readings and if necessary and report it up for corrective measures.

10. Conduct daily inspections of the AVCN systems for the respective conference rooms.

11. Provide support to the receptionist during lunch breaks and or time away from work.

12. Conduct inspections to ensure that receptionist area is kept at a high level of maintenance in conjunction with ensuring that supplies and equipment are maintained at adequate levels.

13. Perform other duties as directed by Facilities Supervisor
