Lead DevOps Engineer Duties:
- Manage various DevSecOps tasks, including scripting automation for deployment and monitoring, maintaining security systems, handling virtualized and containerized assets, configuring networks, and supporting engineering teams
- Lead the design, integration, and deployment of applications in a CI/CD pipeline focused on enterprise Kubernetes using modern tools
- This is a technical leadership role, not a managerial one
- Lead a team of engineers to create an automated DevSecOps environment and automate system configuration and deployment processes
- Proficiency in scripting languages and experience with cloud design, Kubernetes, containerization, and automation tools like AWX, Jenkins, and Ansible
- Familiarity with or willingness to learn Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Lead DevOps Engineer Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field
- Minimum eight (8) years of relevant work experience
- IAT Level II or higher certification (e.g., Security+, CISSP) required within six months of hire
- U.S. Citizenship with eligibility for SECRET to TOP SECRET security clearance
