Procare Therapy, a leading provider of educational staffing solutions, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Middle School Special Education Teacher for the upcoming 2023-2024 school year. This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of students in Tonopah, Nevada, while working full-time hours on an hourly contract basis.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with special needs, ensuring alignment with state and federal regulations
• Plan, deliver, and assess engaging and differentiated instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students
• Utilize various instructional strategies and resources to support students' academic, social, and emotional growth
• Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, and parents to facilitate an inclusive and supportive learning environment
• Monitor and track student progress, providing timely feedback and implementing appropriate interventions as needed
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student performance, IEP progress, and related administrative tasks

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field
• Valid state teaching certification in Special Education
• Prior experience working with middle school students with special needs
• Strong knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with students, colleagues, and parents
• Ability to create and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
