Position Summary:

Wilson Medical Center in Wilson, NC has an opening for RN – Telemetry.  The Telemetry unit is a 22 bed unit that has been recently renovated.  Patients are primarily cardiac patients.  The Registered Nurse will care for patients with chest pain, cardiac arrhythmias and congestive heart failure.

Under the general supervision of the Director, and according to established policies and procedures, the Registered Nurse in Telemetry coordinates total nursing care for patients, participates in patient and family teaching, acts as a patient/family advocate, and works with other nursing and ancillary personnel to maintain standards for professional nursing practice.  Work is of a highly confidential nature.  Performs other duties of the department as required.


Minimum Qualifications:

Graduation from a Nursing Education program

NC or Multi-state RN licensure required

BLS certification required and provided

ACLS required or must be obtained within 3 months from date of hire
