$17.00 / Hour (Weekend Availability)

Job Summary:
The Maintenance Technician will report directly to the Maintenance manager and will be responsible for guest-related calls and repairs as well as nightly assignments assigned by management.

The Maintenance Technician will report directly to the Maintenance manager and will be responsible for guest-related calls and repairs as well as nightly assignments assigned by management.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Performs guest room and public area maintenance and repairs on plumbing, electrical, and painting.
- Check on all guest room electrical appliances, including refrigeration controls, television sets, and lighting systems, making repairs where necessary.
- Provides guest room service/repair status to the front desk and management.
- Completes hotel room and building repairs such as replacing ceiling tiles, filters, light bulbs, and painting.
- Performs repairs on toilets, sinks, laundry facilities, kitchen, and other hotel property.
- Respond in a timely, courteous manner to guest questions, complaints, or requests.
- Completes preventive maintenance checklists
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Skills:
- Minor electrical, plumbing, and HVAC knowledge (preferred).
- Attention to detail.
Required Competencies:

- Professional demeanor
Physical Demands:
- Standing for a prolonged period.
- Ability to lift 25-50 lbs.
