Description

As a Junior Accountant, your primary responsibilities will involve the maintenance, preparation, and reconciliation of accounts and financial documents. This position will require a broad understanding of basic accounting principles as well as excellent communication skills. You will be performing administrative and complex accounting tasks related to product costing, financial reporting, and financial analysis under general supervision.


Essential Functions:

  • Prepares journal entries for monthly general ledger close. (Essential)
  • Prepares and compiles monthly financial statements and related schedules in a timely manner including the gross margin report. (Essential)
  • Prepares monthly Ebara Corporation report as well as other reporting and informational requests from EC and within ETI. (Essential)
  • Prepares and assists in preparing documentation for annual financial audit and quarterly reviews. (Essential)
  • Prepares and assists with Stravislink reporting. (Essential)
  • Prepares and assists in preparing budget and other templates as well as compiling data for forecast updates and annual budgets. (Essential)
  • Oversees and assists in completion of sales tax returns by the AR Clerk. (Essential)
  • Review update and approve new part number entries into ETI's ERP system. (Essential)
  • Prepares government reports and surveys related to ETI's operations. (Essential)
  • Support and backup for accounts receivable invoicing I cash receipts I collection calls I customer credit checks, and bank reconciliations. (Essential)
  • Willingness to perform other accounting staff functions including, but not limited accounts payable processing, document scanning and filing. (Essential)
  • Complies with EBARA safety policies, including participation in and completion of all required safety training. (Essential)

Qualifications

  • Strong Customer Relations skills.

Skills & Abilities

  • Working knowledge of MS Office products including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Working knowledge of computerized accounting systems.
  • Detailed knowledge of financial and managerial concepts and theories as well as cost accounting concepts and theories.
