POSITION DESCRIPTION
Are you eager to become a vital member of the City of Bothell?s Parks and Recreation Department? Do you have interest in park maintenance and repair work?  The City of Bothell is offering an exciting opportunity with several openings for seasonal positions in the Parks and Recreation Department! 

Note: This is anticipated to start in May 2024. This is a temporary full-time position. This position has authorized funding for four (4) full months from hire. This is also a non-represented and non-benefited position. 

What will you do in this position?

  • Maintains ball fields and prepares fields for use including dragging and lining.
  • Mows, trims, and weeds small landscape and large turf areas in assigned areas; operates push mower and other equipment necessary, such as line trimmers, rakes, shovels.
  • Assists in construction and renovation of park facilities including parks, ball fields and restrooms.
  • Other duties as assigned

 A successful candidate in this position will:

  • Be age 18 or older and have a valid driver's license at the time of appointment.
  • Ensure clear and efficient communication of information and ideas through diverse communication channels.
  • Develop and utilize collaborative relationships to build informal and formal teams, aiming to achieve team goals. 
  • Effectively evaluate and prioritize various tasks, projects, and demands.
  • Openly receive new ideas and other perspectives.
  • Take responsibility for accomplishing goals and achieving quality results.
