Northwest Health- La Porte has an opportunity for a licensed Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join the General Surgery and Bariatric Surgery team.  Experienced PA/NP in general surgery preferred.

Details of Position:

• Outpatient clinic:Surgical follow ups, pre-procedure clearance and education, wound care
• Medical weight loss clinic visits, including patient education and counseling
• Assist with prior authorizations and payor appeals
• Satellite location potential
• Collaborative workflow with general and bariatric surgeons to ensure efficiencies and autonomy
