Job Description
The Purchasing Manager will Plan, coordinate, direct the purchasing of raw material, PPE, consumables, scrap and services. Will manage other buyers. Negotiates contracts and works with Corporate ratifications. Also responsible for developing long-term programs and procedures. Works with product and support departments. Develops suppliers and approved vendors. Responsible for International orders. Responsible that all products are double sourced. Report to Supply Chain Manager. Establish that negotiating, purchasing, receiving and inventory practices are established.
Qualifications: Bachelors degree, experience, familiar with production materials and services. Computer literacy, experience with Microsoft Windows, MS Office. Experience working with ERP systems such as Maximo, Sage or JD Edwards.
