Sales and Stock Associate

A fast-paced wine & liquor store seeking friendly, personable cashiers. As the person with the most contact with our customers, you will be responsible for:

Providing a positive customer experience with fair, friendly, and courteous service.

Registering sales on a cash register by scanning items, itemizing and totaling customers’ purchases.

Collecting payments by accepting cash, or charge payments from customers and makes change for cash customers.

Verifying legal age requirements for the purchase of alcohol.

Balancing cash drawer by counting cash at beginning and end of work shift.

Maintaining checkout operations by following policies and procedures and reporting needed changes.

Maintaining a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

We are open 362 days a year so your availability is for Weekends, evenings and holidays is important.

Qualifications

Skills required:

• A friendly and positive attitude
• Excellent customer service
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to make change
• Basic math skills
• Attention to detail

Experience:

• Customer Service: 2 year (Preferred)
• Must be 21 years of age

You are comfortable and proficient (we train) with computerized cashiering.
You are able to regularly lift 30 lbs. (stock and delivery load-outs).
You have a verifiable driving record.
Have current verifiable employment references.
