Behavioral Technician

Axios Professional Recruitment is partnered with an Autism Center in Prudenville, MI who is seeking residential Behavioral Technicians. Responsibilities

Include, but are not limited to: 

• Implement behavioral therapy interventions under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
• Collect and record data on patient behavior during therapy sessions
• Assist with evaluations and patient assessments
• Collaborate with the treatment team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Provide support and guidance to patients and their families
• Maintain accurate and confidential medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations
• Conduct behavioral assessments and assist in the development of behavior intervention plans
• Monitor progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as necessary

Qualifications

• Experience working with children, particularly those with autism spectrum disorder
• Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and techniques
• Proficient in data collection and analysis
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals
• Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively as part of a team
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate medical records
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality
