Company Description
Peoplelink Staffing is now hiring an HR Assistant for one of our valued customers in South Beloit, IL. Seeking someone who is reliable, great at communication and enjoys working with little direction.
As an HR Assistant you will provide administrative support to the HR department and assist with daily operations, including recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, and other HR-related tasks.
Hours: 9am-5pm – Temporary position 3-5 months
Pay: $24-26
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist with the recruitment process, including posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and communicating with applicants
- Conduct new hire orientations and assist with onboarding paperwork
- Assist with employee relations, including responding to employee inquiries, conducting exit interviews, and maintaining personnel files
- Process and maintain HR-related documentation, including new hire paperwork, benefits enrollments, and employee change requests
- Assist with HR-related projects as needed, such as updating employee handbooks and policies
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR databases and employee files
- Provide general administrative support to the HR department, including scheduling meetings, answering phone calls, and maintaining office supplies
- Translate HR-related documents and communicate with Spanish-speaking employees as needed
Qualifications:
- Bilingual in Spanish and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills in both languages
- Knowledge of HR laws and regulations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with others
