Job Title: Nurse Aide Instructor

Job Type: Part-Time/full-time

Location: Texas Healthtech Institute, Beaumont, TX (and Houston, Texas).

Job Summary: Texas Healthtech Institute is seeking a part-time Nurse Aide Instructor for its Beaumont campus. The candidate may be considered for full-time position if he/she is willing to teach at both Beaumont and Houston campuses. The candiadate must have one year experience of working at a long-term care facility. Minimum qualification is LVN certification. The instructor will teach in both face-to-face and online mode.

Responsibilities:

• Teach nurse aide courses in accordance with the college's curriculum and accepted standards.
• Develop course syllabi, lesson plans, and instructional materials.
• Utilize various teaching methods and technologies to engage students and enhance learning.
• Evaluate and grade student assignments, tests, and exams.
• Provide timely feedback and support to students to help them achieve academic success.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and progress.
• Participate in departmental meetings, professional development activities, and college committees as required.
• Provide academic advising to students as needed.

Requirements:

• Certification as a LVN
• Minimum of 1 year working experience in a long-tern care facility.
• Ability to teach and provide instruction in a classroom or clinical setting.
