Production Manager              

Pay Rate: $60,000 DOE

Location: Mt Airy, NC

Hours: Day Shift

The Production Manager will be responsible for overseeing the manufacturing process to ensure products are produced efficiently, on time, and meet quality standards. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a proven track record of optimizing production processes.

Responsibilities:

·         Plan, organize, and coordinate production schedules to meet customer demands.

·         Monitor production processes and adjust schedules as needed to ensure on-time delivery.

·         Supervise and train production staff to ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.

·         Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and quality assurance, to resolve production issues and implement process improvements.

·         Manage inventory levels and coordinate with purchasing department to ensure adequate supply of materials.

·         Analyze production data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.

·         Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

·         Develop and implement strategies to increase productivity and reduce production costs.

Skills Needed:

·         Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, or experience in related field.

·         Proven experience in production management, preferably in sewing and garment assembly.

·         Strong leadership and team-building skills.

·         Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

·         Proficiency in MS Office and production management software.

·         Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.

·         Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
