This is not a high-stress position. However, it can be fast paced depending on the mail volume each day.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
- These candidates will be working at a computer and preparing hazard mail documents electronically for transfer to other departments for processing.
Personality Skills:
- Pleasant, easy-going, and able to work in a team environment.
Qualifications:
- Attention to detail, able to sit for long periods of time and good hand/eye coordination.
The Mail Services Specialist is responsible for the following functions:
- Prepping incoming electronic mail (E-Prep/FTP).
- Other tasks as assigned
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED
Knowledge and Skills:
- Ability to sit for long periods of time.
- Basic Computer Skills and Comfortable using a computer.
- Ability to make good decisions.
- Organizational skills
- Flexible to handle different assignments.
- Ability to learn multiple polies and procedures
Traditional Role:
- Shift Schedule - Full Time Monday-Friday 4:00PM-12:30AM
- Dress Attire- Jeans, tennis shoes- No T-shirts with print.
- Able to lift 40lbs, able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time, good hand/eye coordination are key for this position.
- Sorting and organizing mail for the associates and processing some manual paperwork.
- Sitting at a computer/opening machine, feeding the opened documents into the machines for scanning and some manual paperwork.
