About Plebeium Forum: Plebeium Forum is a nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering a vibrant community by enabling creativity and knowledge sharing. Our mission is to empower individuals to contribute creatively in a supportive and inclusive environment. As we prepare for launch, we seek a dedicated Chief Operating Officer (COO) who shares our values of open access and community empowerment.

Role Summary: The COO at Plebeium Forum will be central to our operations, overseeing administrative functions and ensuring our activities enhance community collaboration and creativity. This role is crucial for building the operational backbone of our initiatives, facilitating community projects, and maintaining an inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the CEO and board to implement strategic plans that align with our community-centric values.
• Establish operational systems to support community engagement and project execution.
• Lead a team dedicated to fostering a culture of innovation, inclusivity, and continuous development.
• Manage resources efficiently, upholding our commitment to transparency and equal pay.
• Drive community growth and engagement through accessible and engaging programming.
• Maintain scalable operations to support the expansion of community impact.
• Build relationships with community members and stakeholders to promote and expand the reach of Plebeium Forum.

Qualifications:

• Experience in leadership roles, preferably in a nonprofit or community-driven organization.
• Strong operational management, strategic thinking, and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of nurturing a diverse and creative community.
• Commitment to the values of creativity, inclusivity, and community empowerment.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; Master’s degree preferred.
