Jewelry Retail Manager

A Jewelry Retail Manager will be result driven and be responsible for overall sale management of a store by making sure it runs smoothly, cleanly, and effectively. Their duties include motivating sales teams, creating business strategies, meeting sales and profitability goals, and managing staff effectively. Sales/Store managers are responsible for interviewing, recruiting, and hiring as well as potentially supervising assistant store employees.

Responsibilities

• Develop business strategies to raise our customer’ pool, expand store traffic, and optimize profitability
• Meet sales goals by training, motivating, mentoring, and providing feedback to sales staff
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service
• Respond to customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner
• Complete store administration and ensure compliance with policies and procedures
• Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards
• Report on buying trends, customer needs, profits, etc.
• Inventory
• Develop and arrange promotional material and in-store displays
• Propose innovative ideas to increase market share
• Conduct personnel performance appraisals to assess training needs and build career paths
• Deal with all issues that arise from staff or customers (complaints, grievances, etc.)
• Be a shining example of well behavior and high performance
• Secures merchandise by implementing security systems and measures
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional groups
• Processing payment and handling transaction
• Additional store manager duties as needed

Requirements

• Proven successful experience as a jewelry retail sales manager
• High School diploma and some college degree
• Powerful leading skills and business orientation
• Familiarity with POS systems
• Customer service-oriented with in-depth knowledge of basic business management processes
• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
