Licensed Massage Therapist

Four year old, gorgeous day spa and hair salon that specializes in pampering and luxurious services is looking for full-time and part time massage therapist to join our team. We are seeking a motivated individual who has good work ethic and is professional.

• Flexible schedule for part time staff.
• Fulltime staff has consistent hours; this is a salaried position with guaranteed and consistent pay.
• Part time rate is $15-$50 per hour depending on experience and skill set.
• Fulltime and part-time staff keep 100% of tips.

Slo Spa and Salon is a day spa and hair salon conveniently located in Seekonk, MA close to the 195 exit. We are a supportive and professional group, all working together with one common goal. Our unique day spa and salon provides a complete spectrum of services at one location. We offer hair salon, waxing, facials, spa packages, nail services, lashes and massages.

Job Description:

• Provide effective and consistent massage and body treatments in accordance with spa protocols and accepted certification practices.
• Punctual and performs services within the appropriate time allotted for the service.
• Have knowledge and understanding of all services and products offered.
• Uphold the standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed by law and the spa policies and procedures.
• Provide client education; address questions and concerns in a friendly and professional manner.
• Maintain complete confidentiality in all guest matters in accordance with spa polices.
• Fulltime and salaried staff will be required to assist with administrative duties while client base is built up.

Qualifications:

• Experience as a licensed massage therapist in a private, high-end setting.
• Work ethic and professionalism are important qualities in our massage therapists.
• Must be skilled and effective in Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone, duet, aromatherapy, pregnancy massages.
• Have good communication skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $15.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
