Job Description

Pay Rate: $23.75 per hour.

• Maintain and operate two stage ammonia systems, boiler systems, air systems, main water systems and their subsidiary equipment in a safe, efficient and competent manner under the direction of a Watch Engineer.

Qualifications

• Completion of a 2 Year Industrial Refrigeration certification preferred
• Must be able to work under minimal supervision
• Must be able to work under the supervision of a Watch Engineer
• Must be able to work with other Refrigeration and Maintenance personnel
• Must posses a high school diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to read and understand equipment manuals
• Must be able to read, write and comprehend English
• Must be able to be certified for the use of a Self Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA)
• Must be able to be certified for use of an Air Purifying Respirator (APR)
• Must be able to document shift equipment issues in Log
• Must be able to perform basic math functions and formulas
• Must be able to bend and stoop
• Must be able to climb and work from ladders and in confined spaces safely
• Must be able to lift over 50 pounds
• Must be able to work from high altitudes, catwalks and roofs
• Must be able to work on wet concrete floor, walk and stoop for prolonged periods of times
• Must be able to work all shifts as may be required
• Must be able to work overtime, weekends and times dictated by production/equipment requirements/needs
• Must be able to submit and pass a criminal background check
