Job description:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer science or equivalent, with minimum 10+ Years of relevant experience.
  • Designing and deploying AWS infrastructure: AWS cloud engineer must have a deep understanding of the AWS platform and ability to deploy AWS infrastructure that follows architectural design and meets the specific needs of their organization.
  • Managing and monitoring AWS resources: An AWS cloud engineer is responsible for managing and monitoring AWS resources, including IAM, EC2, FSx, S3, VPC, Cloud and other AWS services, to ensure they are running smoothly and efficiently.
  • Implementing security and compliance measures: An AWS cloud engineer must be familiar with AWS CIS security best practices and be able to implement security and compliance measures to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with industry regulations. Also, knowledge of writing and implementing preventative SCP policies.
  • Automating tasks and workflows: An AWS cloud engineer should have experience with automation tools like Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, and be able to automate tasks and workflows to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving issues: An AWS cloud engineer must be able to quickly identify and resolve issues with AWS infrastructure and services, and work with other members of the IT team to resolve complex technical problems.
  • Experience managing multiple accounts using AWS Organizations and Control Tower.
  • Managing costs and optimizing performance: An AWS cloud engineer must have experience with cost optimization tools like AWS Cost Explorer and be able to optimize AWS resources to reduce costs while maintaining optimal performance.
  • Collaborating with other IT teams: An AWS cloud engineer must be able to work closely with other IT teams, including developers, network engineers, and security teams, to ensure seamless integration of AWS infrastructure with other IT systems and applications.Finance Applications knowledge is good to have.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
  • Ability to use strong industry knowledge to relate to customer needs and dissolve customer concerns and high level of focus and attention to detail.
