Mead Lumber is looking for a Regional Marketing Manager to join our team and help us promote our products and services in our existing locations. As a Regional Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing plans and strategies that will help us achieve our business goals. You will also be responsible for managing and coordinating the work you do in your area as well as working with the marketing team to achieve those goals. - Develop marketing strategies for assigned company locations.
- Implement a marketing plan, coordinating with marketing department, location managers, sales teams, and vendors.
- Maintain regular contact with location managers, providing feedback, building loyalty, and helping them solve problems.
- Review and assess the effectiveness of all marketing operations, focusing on driving key performance indicators, sales and customer retention.
- Drive revenue, brand awareness, and customer acquisition.
- Administer company’s marketing initiatives to the various locations that you will cover, including creating and distributing ads, brochures, sales collateral, videos, and other marketing material.
- Work with locations to host various events for customers such as contractor luncheons, trade shows, and home shows.
- Travel 10% to 25% of the time visiting the locations assigned to you, getting to know the people and community they serve.
- Work towards developing and maintaining a customer and prospect databases.
- Placing and analyzing digital and traditional media advertising campaigns.
- Work with various departments in marketing to keep things updated, such as websites, social media, and vendor relations.
- Work with retail vendor portals and their marketing calendars to promote key initiatives.
- Help locations with various ecommerce strategies and implementation.
- Keep the marketing department updated on any changes you see in the locations.
- Contribute to strategic and financial planning and goal setting.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, a related field or previous experience.
- 5+ years of experience in marketing and business development
- Solid background in B2B marketing
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
Adept at multitasking and prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment
Basic understanding of digital marketing strategies and tactics
Creativity and ability to think outside the box
- Data-Driven decision making
- Capable of setting goals, prioritizing tasks, and efficiently managing time to meet deadlines.
