Qualifications:
Required:
- Master's degree or higher in ABA, Psychology, Education, or a related field
- Certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in good standing with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
- 2+ years of professional experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD)
- Works with integrity and adheres to the BACB Ethical Code, HIPAA practices, and company policies
- Ability to move freely, quickly, and frequently from a seated position to a standing position, and lift items up to 50 lbs. on occasion
Overview:
- Select appropriate assessments and complete required components for client funding sources
- Administer assessments such as VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, Essential for Living, Functional Assessments, and Functional Analysis
- Develop reports including functional behavior assessments, individual treatment plans, behavior intervention plans, and discharge summaries
- Utilize behavioral skills training to teach direct care staff and monitor progress regularly
- Train and supervise behavior technicians in ABA procedures and interventions
- Develop individualized programming based on client and caregiver needs
