Job Summary


The Trainer role will be responsible for the overall training programs for assigned employees. They must design, organize, plan orientation and other training programs. The Trainer will also assess any training needs with employees or consultation with Managers.


Responsibilities

· Assess training needs through interviews with employees, or consultation with managers,.

· Design, plan, organize, or direct orientation and training programs for employees.

· Offer specific training programs to help workers maintain or improve job skills.

· Present information using a variety of instructional techniques or formats, such as role playing, or simulations.

· Obtain, organize, or develop training procedure manuals, guides, or course materials, such as handouts or visual materials.

· Monitor, evaluate, or record training activities or program effectiveness.

· Develop alternative training methods if expected improvements are not seen.

· Evaluate training materials prepared by instructors, such as outlines, text, or handouts.

· Complies with and assists other employees understand and comply with TAB's policies and procedures.

· Process invoices and payments for contract services

· Order/maintain department supplies

· Completes monthly reports

· Support department with transportation services as necessary (TAB Driver Certified)

· Behaves in accordance with the key behaviors aligned with TAB's Core Values of Leadership, Integrity, Growth & Innovation, Heart and Teamwork (LIGHT).

· Complies with and ensures employees understand and comply with TAB's policies and procedures.

Minimum Education and Experience

· High School Diploma or equivalent, some college preferred

· TX DL required


Physical Requirements

With or without reasonable accommodation, employees in this position must be able to:

· Prolonged periods of working on a computer

· Ability to be in a stationary position (stand/sit) for 4-8 hours

  • Ability to lift/move up to 10-25 lbs. at times
  • Ability to bend, stoop, squat, adjust position for 50% of time
  • Ability to work in conditions with varying temperature, including cold and/or heat
  • Ability to drive vehicle.
