Position Summary: The Solutions Architect role is a critical one within the company's IT department, requiring a blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and strategic thinking.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, implement, and oversee multiple applications across various platforms.
• Provide technical leadership, consulting, and direction to team members.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of departmental and business unit strategic plans.
• Develop, document, communicate, and enforce technology standards.
• Research and recommend emerging technologies to enhance infrastructure.
• Design and oversee implementation of end-to-end integrated systems.
• Conduct technical performance testing and provide improvement recommendations.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
• Organize and lead code and design reviews.
• Stay updated on web, Windows development, and database technology.

Requirements:

• Advanced understanding of information processing principles and practices.
• Technical proficiency in network, PC, and platform operating systems, particularly Microsoft Windows.
• Proficiency in programming languages relevant to the division.
• Knowledge of data privacy practices and laws.
• Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Interpersonal and consultative skills.
• Ability to present complex ideas in user-friendly language.
• Effective prioritization and execution in high-pressure environments.
• Collaborative team-oriented mindset.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in development, business requirements analysis, and system design.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with development tools like Visual Studio .NET.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with relational database technology, preferably MS SQL Server.
