Essential Functions / Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible to ensure all customer orders are fulfilled complete as requested and on time.
• Validate all products and paperwork are accurate and loaded properly in support of customer orders. This includes, but not limited to verifying that all containers are properly marked according to contract number, sketch or drawing number, locations and quantities and weights.
• Responsible for preparing all shipping papers and receiving documents in an accurate and timely manner.
• Responsible for load configuration to ensure load efficiency and safety.
• Ensure product and packaging is not damaged.
• Maintain accurate and easily retrievable records of all transactions.
• Responsible for all shipping transactions in Royston mainframe system (MOVEX) Must have MOVEX experience as it relates to shipping, receiving, inventory and production.
• Awareness of Royston LLC product descriptions so as to recognize the goods being shipped
• Schedule transportation and logistics needs.
• Manage outbound UPS/FedEx shipments.
• Must have knowledge of correct crating procedures,
• Must maintain good housekeeping practices.
• Must have knowledge, awareness and observe all safety practices and procedures.
• Must be a team player, good communicator and willing to improve processes using Lean techniques/tools.

Minimum Qualifications / Skills:

High school diploma or equivalent, prior warehouse/distribution center experience, good communication, and computer skills are essential.
