Overview:
. We are seeking an experienced Grill Operations Manager to join our team. As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant. This is a leadership role that requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and the ability to effectively manage a team. Duties:

-Oversee food operations such as scheduling the staff, approve their work shifts and days off. Plotting out areas where to operate and ensuring that all legal permits and licenses are up to date. The manager must also be able to fill an employee’s position should there be a sudden absence.
Catering Management- Communicate with customers, develop quotes, take orders, and oversee the execution.
-Responsible for scheduling maintenance and ensures that food trucks are serviced and in good and safe driving condition.
-Responsible for maintenance of cooking units and their cleanness.
-Responsible for training the staff in their respective roles.
-Ensure that all the staff are aware of the food preparation procedures and that they meet necessary sanitary requirements.
-Ensure the safety of the operations and that the team is following safety practices.
-Regularly visit the worksite to maintain the quality of work by the staff members and the products.
-Schedule and lead periodic staff meetings.
-Responsible for keeping the inventory for supplies and tools..
-Ensure all permits and licenses are up to date.
-Work with Farmers Market Organizations and fulfill their requirements.
-Research and establish new sites to operate.
-Communicate with customers nicely and handle their inquiries and comments.

Minimum Qualifications:

-Must be able to multi-task.
-Is good with math for inventory and cashiering purposes.
-Has excellent communication skills.
-Has a commercial driver’s license.
-Is a team player.
-Is able to provide superior customer service.
-Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
-Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and work in cold and hot environments.
-Proficient for basic Microsoft Office

Experience and Education

-At least 3 years’ experience in food service with 1 year experience in a supervisory role.
-A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Licenses and Certifications

-Must have a valid Californian Driver’s License.

Weekly day range:

-Work in headquarters in Oakland
-Monday to Friday Weekends as needed - needs to be available on the phone to assist team.
