CNC Sorter - 2nd Shift - Now Hiring

Overview

Under general supervision of the Production Control Manager, coordinates all aspects of inventory safety stock, excess material function required to assure successful plant and production operations. Experience in all aspects of materials, inventory control, supply chain and material handling including accuracy on system transactions and cycle counting.

Pay range for this position is $18-22/hr, depending on experience.

This is a 2nd Shift position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for organizing safety stock, depleting access inventory and management of all incoming and out going product
• Must be able to analyze product usage and deplete inventory levels
• Issue parts and perform transactions on a timely manner to final Quality inspection for shipment of product. Keep component and finish good inventory in proper locations
• Able to cycle-count inventory, monitoring min/max inventory levels and records as required to ensure inventory control proper levels are maintained to meet production requirements
• Ability to work in a fast, multi-tasking environment
• Occasionally, the incumbent will be asked and expected to perform various, miscellaneous, and non-standard duties as required. Such duties are diversified in nature and may be changed from time to time to suit the needs of the company

Qualifications

Education:

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent plus basic math aptitude
• APICS Certification required
• Inventory control background

Experience:

• Hands on knowledge, inventory management and spreadsheet formal experience as well as have experience with various ERP System reports
• Previous planning and scheduling experience

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Strong computer literacy (MS Office, Windows XP, e-mail)
• Familiarity with computer management systems (inventory control, purchasing)
• Familiarity with ERP Systems
