Positions details:
- Location: South Florida Baptist Hospital – 3202 North Park Ave, Plant City, FL
- Status: Pool
- Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM
- Every other weekend requirement
- On Call: No
- Always in person

Requirements:
- RN (Registered Nurse) License
- Diploma, Associate’s, Bachelor's or Higher in Nursing
- 2-year experience in the emergency department
- BLS certification with the American Red Cross or American Heart Association
- ACLS certification with the American Heart Association
- PALS certification with the American Heart Association
The Registered Nurse – responsibilities and skills:
- Works in a hospital setting and independently cares for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards
- Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team
- Organizes and prioritizes and updates plan of care in collaboration with patients, family and significant others
- Identifies patients at risk for injury regarding diagnosis, medication, procedure, age, etc., and prepares room environment
- Monitor, record, and update care team on patient vitals and assessments.
- Identifying sudden or subtle changes in a patient’s medical condition
- Responding to medical emergencies for critical patients
- High emotional intelligence to create a positive patient care experience that includes simplifying medical terminology and concepts to the patient
