Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and driven Staff Accountant to join our finance department. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and a passion for accuracy. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse financial tasks, including but not limited to, general ledger maintenance, financial reporting, budgeting, and assisting with audits.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, journal entries, and general ledger maintenance.
Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and reports in accordance with GAAP.
Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes to support strategic decision-making.
Conduct periodic reconciliations of bank accounts and other financial accounts.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
Assist with external audits and provide necessary documentation and support.
Stay updated on accounting regulations and best practices to ensure compliance and efficiency.
Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives within the finance department.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field PREFERRED.
2+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting standards.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
