SPED Full Time Teacher Position in Auburn, Washington

Blazer Jobs is currently seeking experienced Special Education Teachers for full-time roles with school districts in the Auburn, Washington area. Requirements:

• Valid Washington State Teaching Certification in Special Education
• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (Master's degree preferred)
• Previous experience working with students with special needs
• Knowledge of Individualized Education Program (IEP) development and implementation
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and support staff

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities
• Provide direct instruction and support to students with special needs in various educational settings
• Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, and support staff to create inclusive learning environments
• Adapt instructional materials and strategies to meet the diverse learning needs of students with disabilities
• Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as necessary
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and participation in accordance with district policies
• Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student progress and goals
• Participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills and stay informed about best practices in special education
