Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Location: Hilliard, Ohio

Description: We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Hilliard, Ohio. As an SLP in our school district, you will play a vital role in providing assessment, diagnosis, and intervention services to support students with munication disorders, enabling them to succeed academically and socially.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct prehensive assessments and evaluations to identify speech and language disorders in students
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and student needs
  • Provide direct therapy services to students with articulation, language, fluency, and voice disorders
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to integrate speech and language goals into the educational curriculum and classroom activities
  • Monitor and document students' progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outes
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide input to support students' educational goals
  • Stay current with best practices and evidence-based interventions in the field of speech-language pathology

Educational Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or munication Sciences and Disorders

Certifications:

  • Certificate of Clinical petence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
  • Ohio state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working with school-aged children in a school or clinical setting
  • Knowledge of assistive technology and augmentative and alternative munication (AAC) systems
  • Strong munication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
