Registered Nurse (RN)

Position: School Registered Nurse (RN), Full Time (37.5 hours)

Responsibilities:

• 1:1 Caseload
• Provide direct nursing care to students and staff in the school setting.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
• Assess and manage students' health conditions and emergency situations.
• Develop and implement individualized health care plans for students with chronic illnesses or special needs.
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure students' well-being and safety.

Qualifications:

• Valid Illinoisstate license as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Previous experience in school nursing or pediatric nursing is preferred.
• Knowledge of mon childhood illnesses, immunizations, and health regulations.
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent munication and interpersonal skills.
