You will have primary responsibility for driving profitable sales growth in accounts that meets or exceeds sales goals. The Sales team focuses on selling our Enterprise Software solution to enterprises customers. You will be responsible for incorporating strategic planning in order to optimize revenue generation of sales efforts. Additional activities include: establishing optimal sales territories; managing team performance; understanding and communicating customer needs to inform product improvements and product extensions; ensuring execution of field driven sales and marketing activities; and overseeing the development, implementation, and use of sales metrics.  You will report to the Director, Field Sales – Corporate Performance & ESG, Enablon.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESMaintains strong vertical subject matter expertise, coupled with the ability to manage a cross- functional sales team with demonstrable ability in the following:Provides leadership and guidance to direct reports, peers, supervisors and/or senior professionals based on organizational goals and company policyMaintains accountability for the performance and results of multiple related departments or areas--typically accountable for a staff function, organizational unit or small division of the companyDevelops departmental plans and determines objective-oriented assignmentsEstablishes operating policies and procedural plans, including business and operational priorities, methodologies and standards. Work Is reviewed in terms of meeting objectives, timelines and quality standardsLeads and inspires the team to quota success, as well as increases the understanding of the needs and key performance indicators for the vertical.Owns the number for the team consisting of blended quota of new logo business and expansion from the existing install basePerforms other duties as assigned by supervisorQUALIFICATIONSEducation:Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant experience; MBA preferredMinimum Experience:10+ years B2B outside/field sales experience selling complex Enterprise software/SaaS solutions and services5+ years of sales management (supervisory) experienceProficiency with business planning and budget developmentPrior accountability for revenue generation and proven track record for meeting or exceeding revenue targetsDemonstrable record for transforming a business function and developing high-powered sales teamsProficiency developing and driving effective use of CRMPreferred Experience:Sales or sales leadership experience in the one of our vertical markets (Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Food & Beverage, Manufacturing, Aerospace & Defense, Energy, Mining & Metals, Utility)EHS or ORM software sales expertiseOther Knowledge, Skills, Abilities or Certifications:Leadership skills, Subject Matter Expertise, Coaching, Performance Management, Field Sales Techniques, Advanced Business Consulting, Change ManagementProven ability to perform in a collaborative manner and engender trust and cooperation from colleagues and stakeholders in a highly matrixed environment with multiple channelsTRAVEL REQUIREMENT25-50%Compensation:Target salary range CA, CT, CO, HI, NY, WA: $147,200-$208,350This role is eligible for Commission.Additional Information:Wolters Kluwer offers a wide variety of competitive benefits and programs to help meet your needs and balance your work and personal life, including but not limited to: Medical, Dental, & Vision Plans, 401(k), FSA/HSA, Commuter Benefits, Tuition Assistance Plan, Vacation and Sick Time, and Paid Parental Leave.
