We are seeking a Retail Shipping Clerk - USPS Contract Unit Staff to become an integral part of our team! You will help coordinate incoming and outgoing shipment activities.
Responsibilities:
- Provide USPS products and services to client at our retail location
- Assist customers in the appropriate service options for their letters and packages
- Assist customers with shipping inquiries
- Perform other retail services like faxing, scanning, digital printing, etc
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in shipping, logistics, or other related fields helpful but not required
- Ability to handle physical workload - up to 70# packages from scale to pickup area
- Ability to multitask and prioritize
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment
- Bilingual - English and Spanish
Our retail location operates at a neighborhood United States Post Office, providing postal products and services at regular post office prices. Enjoy working with many regular customers to ship their packages and sell stamps. Additionally we provide an array of basic office services like faxing, printing, copies, laminating, scanning etc for our customers. Bilingual English and Spanish is very helpful.
