Come grow with us! General Purpose and Scope of Position:The Customer Service Representative is responsible for carrying out and assisting with all administrative tasks associated with operating the manufacturing facility in Corydon, IN. Key Skills and Abilities Include:2-year degree preferred or High School graduate with equivalent experience.Proficiency with computers to expert level utilizing Microsoft Windows, Windows applications, and ERP order entry systems.High Attention to detail is required. Key Personal Attributes Include:Strong interpersonal and practical communication skills (verbal, written, and utilizing all media (phone, e-mail, text)) for interaction with customers and fellow employees, including the ability to maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support resources, with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer serviceStrong organization skills with strong attention to detail, along with the ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple assignmentsAbility to manage emotionally charged situations requiring resolution, including responding professionally to common inquiries or complaints from sales staff and other employees, customers, regulatory agencies, suppliers, etc.Must have a positive and energetic attitude with the desire to help internal and external customers Specific Responsibilities and Key Deliverables Include:  Enter orders and invoice shipments in the ERP system (Great Plains)Coordinate trucks, rail, or Customer Pickup as needed for outbound shipments.Prepare all necessary paperwork for shipments.Enter raw material PO receipts and manufacturing orders to “build” products in the ERP system.Request POs for non-inventory purchases, receive purchase orders in Great Plains and process A/P invoices for payment.Maintain good communication with the carriers, customers, plant manager, plant operations, DSMs, accounting, and management team.Keep records of customer interactions and details of inquiries.Any other business activities as required Compensation and Benefits:In compliance with all states and cities requiring transparency of pay, the base compensation for this position ranges from $21.44 - $28.63.Note that salary may vary based on location, skills, and experience.
