Residential Maintenance Handyman

As a Field Tech II for Creative Housing Inc., you will play a vital role in maintaining our company's physical assets and delivering exceptional customer service. The Field Tech II is responsible for completing service requests, proactively identifying service needs, and supporting various operational functions.

You will also:

· Complete service requests from multiple sources, including phone, email, and custom applications.

· Collaborate as needed for internal and third-party inspections to maintain housing quality standards.

· Provide basic troubleshooting for service requests to resolve issues promptly.

· Communicate any need for assistance to ensure timely completion of service needs.

· Conduct preventative maintenance tasks.

· Collaborate with Facilities and Leasing teams to address property maintenance issues constituting lease compliance violations.

· Perform work to maintain warehouse, garage and grounds orderliness and cleanliness.

· Efficiently manage the use of company inventory and supply shop supplies.

· Comply with OSHA and life safety requirements.

· Assist with tenant notifications and access coordination.

· Perform on call (after hours) duties

· Assist with special projects as assigned.

· Cross-train to support departmental coverage during absences.

Requirements:

· 3 years of experience in home/residential maintenance & repairs required.

· Working knowledge of leasing functions in residential property management required.

· Smart phone proficiency required.

· Valid drivers license meeting company insurance requirements.

· Proficiency in Yardi preferred. Forklift operation experience desired.

· Strong organizational, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Customer service-oriented with attention to detail.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

· Ability to collaborate with households, coworkers & vendors.

· Franklin County Residency.
