RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Understand product drawings and can product parts from drawings
- Able to inspect product and threads for conformance to adhere to quality standards
- Reading and understanding gauges, dials, or other indicators to ensure equipment is properly running
- Perform necessary mathematical calculations to product angles
- Monitoring/assessing performance of yourself, other individuals, or organizations to make improvements or take corrective action
- Participation in level 3 maintenance, preventative maintenance, and 5S
- Adherence to corporate policies, procedures, practices and specifications
- Adherence to department policies, procedures, practices and specifications
- Adherence to OSHA safety standards, and departmental Lock out Tag out policies
- Operate overhead, and floor crane
- Report all discrepancies to department supervisor
- Perform all other tasks assigned.
EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or GED
- 3+ years’ experience in metal removal on a variety of machines
