Engineering - Lead Maintenance Engineer - Swing Shift

JOB DESCRIPTION

POSITION TITLE: Lead Engineer JOBCODE: # 360643

DEPARTMENT: Engineering

REPORTS TO: Engineering Manager

POSITIONS REPORTING TO THIS POSITION: Engineering Staff

POSITION SUMMARY:

Lead and direct general engineering per shift assigned.

TASKS:

1. Read and interprets operating engineering orders, blueprints, and sketches.
2. Direct and schedule routine painting and minor carpentry.
3. Oversee minor construction per shift.
4. Assist shift work scheduling and functions.
5. Maintain pager, radio, and phone communication contact with employees during your assigned shift.
6. Must have a phone for contact during your off time.
7. Job functions do not include maintenance or operation of gaming equipment.
8. May be required to come in on any shift as facility or emergency requires.
9. Must be able to transcribe written and/or verbal instructions.
10. Be able to generate work request and indirectly oversee locksmith, plumber, carpenter, welder, painters, and engineers.

EDUCATION OR SKILLS REQUIRED:

High school graduate or equivalent. Must have repair knowledge of carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and familiar with HVAC systems. Supervisory and communication skills. Ability to communicate with 2 way radio or pager system. Forklift experience helpful. High degree of ambulatory mobility to enable person to respond to any type of emergency situation or service call.

Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. Must be able to climb, kneel, stoop and crouch.
