Valley Industries is looking for a Key Account Manager that will assist in developing current retail partnerships in the farm, agriculture, hardware, and ecommerce sectors as well as cultivate new retail business opportunities. As an Outside Sales Representative, you will collaborate directly with our Retail National Sales Manager in advertising a wide range of brands and products. The ideal candidate will have prior experience with farming or ag industry, while having a massive desire for long term personal growth and income success.


Some of the responsibilities of the Key Account Manager are:

  • Qualify prospects within assigned sales territory and build a consistent pipeline to meet sales goals.
  • Create and implement a sales strategy that makes sure you meet personal sales goals, as well as those set-in place by the company.
  • Quickly move prospects through the sales process by delivering outstanding consultation, sales, and customer experience.
  • Update sales and client databases with current information.
  • Be informed of the latest industry developments by attending National and International Trade Shows and training workshops.
  • Negotiating with potential and existing customers to close sales.
  • Driving product show trailer within territory to provide current and prospective customers with touch and feel presentations.
  • Attend/Exhibit at partner and industry tradeshows
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing team in bringing new merchandising and products to the market.


In order to be successful in this role, certain requirements must be met such as:
  • Degree in agriculture marketing, business, economics, communications, and/or any equivalent education.
  • 1-3 years of experience in sales.
  • Strong work ethic with a desire to learn.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must have a passion for sales and best practices.
  • Outstanding multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external teams.
