Your responsibilities will include performing various hair-related services such as haircuts, updo stylings, colors, perms, highlights, and more, as listed in our Spa Menu.In this role, you will:- Be a People Pleaser: As a courteous and welcoming Hair Stylist, you will connect with our guests, making them feel special and proud of their appearance. Whether they are preparing for a special event or evening, your warm personality will create memorable experiences.- Be a Hair Care Guru: Staying updated on industry trends and ongoing training will be a priority for you. This will enable you to provide services that ensure guest satisfaction and maximize revenues. You will also offer hair style and care recommendations, as well as upsell related products or services.- Be a Professional: Your commitment to providing high-quality service will be evident in everything you do. You will maintain a clean and stocked work area, adhere to hygiene standards, and handle cash and credit transactions with courtesy. Additionally, you will keep accurate inventory records to ensure efficient use of products.- Excel in Wedding Up Dos: You will have the skills and confidence to create fabulous updos for weddings, understanding the importance of making someone's special day even more special.Compensation: $12.65 hourly plus 30% commission.Join our team and utilize your hairstyling expertise to create exceptional experiences for our guests in Fairport, NY. Responsibilities:

• Requires a current license with prior customer service and/or hotel experience preferred.
• Must be able to work long hours, mostly on your feet.
• Physical requirements include the ability to exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
• Must be able to bend, stretch, twist or reach with your body and arms.
• Must be able to quickly and agilely respond to situations requiring quick assistance.
• Will work under variable temperatures and noise levels.
• Must possess the ability to see details at close range and use scissors, razors, and other tools with great care.
• Must be able to convey and understand information and ideas in English.
• Must be proficient in special event hairstyles (updos, evening curls, wedding hair).
• Ability to do make-up or nails is a plus, but not required.

Qualifications:

• We also are a full service salon doing cuts, color and style (Open to the public).
• We are very busy with Weddings April-November, Saturday availability for special events a must.
• If you are licensed as a cosmetologist, you can be crossed trained in facials and nails if desired.
