Head Coach

Valley Fitness - Modesto in Modesto, CA, US is seeking a passionate Head Coach to lead our fitness team. As a key member of our dynamic community, you will inspire and motivate clients to achieve their wellness goals by providing top-notch coaching and guidance. Your role will involve developing personalized training programs, leading group fitness classes, and fostering a supportive environment for all members. This position offers a competitive hourly salary ranging from $20 to $30, reflecting our commitment to recognizing and valuing talent in our team.

$20 - $30 hourly

• Develop and implement fitness training programs for clients.
• Monitor and track client progress and adjust programs as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service to clients, ensuring a positive experience.
• Manage and supervise fitness staff, providing guidance and support.
• Ensure all fitness equipment is well-maintained and in working order.

• Must have an understanding of how much of an impact we have on our members, communities, and teammates.
• Passionate about people and fitness.
• Must be ambitious, driven, honest, enthusiastic, have personal integrity, and have a passion for the fitness industry.
• Minimum of one nationally accredited personal training certification (required within 60 days of hire). 
• 2+ years of management experience and 2+ years of sales experience. 
• Experience in managing a stand-alone, high-end fitness club.
• Proven leadership ability in an educational, fitness, or professional setting. 
• Ability to hire, direct, coach, train, motivate, and evaluate staff.
