Accounting Clerk

Our Honda/Volkswagen dealership in Port Charlotte, FL, is expanding its team and seeking an experienced Automotive Accounting Clerk. This role will assist the Business Manager in various accounting tasks including booking deals, contracts, and accounts payable/receivables. You can also expect to process paperwork while ensuring accurate recording of dealership transactions such as receipts, payments, and inventory purchases. Reconcile deposits and monthly statements, inputting and maintaining transactions in company records, while also verifying and investigating any account discrepancies. Additionally, support with general automotive and office tasks as required.

The ideal candidate will have automotive accounting experience, strong Excel skills, the ability to understand general ledgers, credits, and debits, and a proactive mindset.
